Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for maternity leave coverage at an elementary school in Cypress, TX. This contract role runs from January 5, 2026, to April 17, 2026, supporting a caseload of approximately 100 students.
Responsibilities include:
- Supervising a bilingual SLP Assistant who works three days per week
- Conducting speech and language evaluations
- Attending Specially Designed Instruction (SDI) only Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings
- Providing direct therapy to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Qualifications:
- Current CCC-SLP certification required
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas
- Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and supervise support staff
- No Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) accepted in this position; please do not inquire
Work Schedule and Location:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- On-site work only; remote options are not available
- Assignment located in Cypress, TX
